DELIVERY POLICY
UK Deliveries
We deliver throughout the UK. For larger furniture items, delivery is carried out by specialist white glove, two-person delivery teams.
Our delivery teams will contact you in advance to arrange a suitable delivery date. Deliveries are typically made Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, although our couriers will aim to be as flexible as possible.
Delivery includes delivery to a room of your choice, unpacking, positioning, minor assembly where required, and removal of packaging.
At the point of delivery, the delivery team will carry out a condition check with you and may take photographs to report back to Fig Atelier.
Customers must inspect their order carefully before the delivery team leaves. By signing for the goods, you confirm that the items have been received in satisfactory condition.
Any visible damage must be reported and noted at the time of delivery. Claims made after this point may not be accepted.
Any damage not visible at the time of delivery must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
Delivery Charges – Luxury Made to Order and Display Pieces
A £200 base delivery fee applies to luxury made to order and display pieces.
Due to the size and nature of these items, final delivery costs are subject to confirmation based on cubic volume, weight, delivery location, and access requirements.
Where additional charges apply, these will be confirmed with the Customer and must be agreed prior to dispatch.
Orders will not be dispatched until delivery arrangements and costs have been agreed.
Free Delivery
Free delivery promotions apply to UK mainland addresses only and to selected standard goods.
Free delivery does not apply to luxury made to order or display items.
Fig Atelier reserves the right to apply delivery charges where orders exceed reasonable volume or handling requirements. Customers will be notified of any such charges prior to dispatch.
Scotland and Highlands
Delivery to Scotland, including the Highlands, may incur additional delivery charges depending on location and courier requirements.
Where applicable, a delivery quotation will be provided and must be agreed prior to dispatch.
Channel Islands and Northern Ireland
Delivery is available to the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland, subject to a separate transportation quotation. Orders will proceed once delivery costs have been agreed with the Customer.
European Union
We may deliver to the European Union at our discretion and where possible. This is subject to a transportation quotation and agreement prior to dispatch.
International Deliveries (Outside the EU)
We may offer delivery outside of the European Union at our discretion, subject to a transportation quotation, agreement of delivery costs, and compliance with individual brand trade policies.
Lead Times
Many of our products are made to order and produced to your specification. As such, we do not typically hold stock.
Estimated lead times are 2 to 4 weeks for smaller items and 10 to 14 weeks for larger made to order furniture.
Artwork may have lead times of 10 to 12 weeks. Bespoke rugs and other custom items may take longer depending on specification.
Most European suppliers close during August, as well as over Christmas and Easter, which may extend lead times.
All lead times are estimates and may be subject to change.
Delivery Access
It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that items can be delivered safely into the property and that there is adequate access.
This includes checking doorways, hallways, staircases, lifts, and access routes.
Customers should refer to the Fig Atelier Measuring Guide prior to purchase.
If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, the Customer may be liable for failed delivery charges, redelivery costs, storage fees, and return transport costs.
Large or heavy items may require additional manpower or specialist handling, which may incur additional charges.
Where additional access requirements are needed, including removal of doors, bannisters, window access, hoisting, or multiple flights of stairs, any associated costs must be agreed prior to delivery.
Important Delivery Notes
Customers must ensure that someone is present to receive and inspect the goods.
If delivery is missed or rescheduled at the Customer’s request, additional charges may apply.
